TDB will be the first African Eurobond issuer of secondary notes on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius

Ebene, Mauritius, June 18 2019 – The Bank is pleased to announce that the Listing Executive Committee of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius Ltd (“SEM”) has on 14 June 2019 approved the secondary listing of TDB’s USD 500,000,000 4.875 per cent Notes due 23 May 2024 (the “Notes”) issued under the TDB’s USD 2,000,000,000 Euro Medium Term Note Programme (the “Programme”) on the Official Market of the SEM by way of introduction. TDB will be the first African Eurobond issuer to secondary list notes in Mauritius.

The listing of the Notes on the Official Market of the SEM will occur on Thursday, 4 July 2019.

It is not anticipated that dealings in the Notes will take place on the Official Market of the SEM on the initial date of listing. However, the Bank will be making necessary arrangements in order to allow dealings in the Notes to take place as soon as practicable following the listing on the SEM.

On 23 May 2019, the Notes were also admitted to the Official List and trading on the Main Securities Market of the Irish Stock Exchange (which is now trading under the name of Euronext Dublin since 27 March 2018).
